Children learn how to inter act with other children and authority figures. At the same time they are learning about their identity as a person, they experiment with clothing styles, music choices, who they associate with, some even choose to isolate feeling like the don't fit in everywhere. In middle school this is compounded with surging hormones. Many of these children are confused by the signals their bodies are sending and need guidance and most of all understanding by others who feel the same way or who are trained to help in these situations. Not discussing the matter, ignoring it will not make it go away or help in any way. The bulling needs to be addressed and ended, and sexual orientation needs to be discussed at an appropriate age, face it children are aware of the differences they need the facts. They also need counselors they can go to for information and even just to have a place to go to to feel safe when they feel threatened.

Please take this seriously.

I am not going to spout my opinion on abortion whether I approve or disapprove or think it's a sin but I do believe each woman needs to make that choice for herself. It is not anyone's right nor is it the government's right to dictate to a woman whether or not she can get an abortion. It's a hard choice to make as it is let us not go back in time to the days when women died at home or in make-shift, abortion dens using coat hangers or poisonous brews. I can say I have made many mistakes in my life and I know my God has forgiven me all. An abortion is between a woman and her God not you. Please give women a choice. That woman may be you or your daughter, granddaughter or someone you love in an impossible situation one day and you will want to be able to make a safe choice.

First Devotion and Meditation Post 3/13/13

Healing Devotions and Meditations

So I did a little looking in the back of my Joyce Meyers Bible under the heading of health and there is a list of verses. For today I chose Proverbs 4:20 - 22. (From now on it will be JMB - Topic) or smething similar.

What I got from reading that is those who believe and follow Gods words and directions for life will be heald. I know from experience all things come in Gods own time, with faith, prayer and obedience. Gods plans are not always our plans and we must go thru the rough to get to the riches.

My devotional calander today is from verse Matt 26:38 In the hour before they came to take Jesus away he told his deciples he was overwhelmed with sorrow. He prayed and when we are filled with sorrow or in deep pain we must also pray, and for others who also are in these siuations, we must pray. When we back those prayers up with faith and obedience asking forgiveness for our wrongs and also being forgiving our prayers will be answered.

Intro to Upcoming Daily Devotions and Meditations

Daily Devotions and Meditations Introduction

I am trying to get back to my routine of daily devotions and meditations and thought to share them as often as possible until such a time that it becomes unwanted or I get a request by a respected source to stop. My aim is not religious but rather spiritual and always just take what applies to you or moves you and leave the rest. I am focusing on healing and health right now due to personal reasons however most messages go much deeper.

My go to life guide book is the Bible you may have another book you go to and that is perfectly fine. I think as long as you search out answers and work towards results with your higher power you will start healing on many levels

I used to start my day with an hour of reading my Bible and then study and meditation I felt so much more centered I need to get back to that. I want to share this all with you and maybe it will help to center you as well.

I will be reaching out thru prayer to (the world in general), anyone in pain, friends, family, caregivers, for healing in mind, body and spirit. There are so many people in the world who need healing. What we give away we get back 10 fold. That is not the only benefit of prayer either, tho I don't want to get ahead of myself.

I have several Bibles and my favorite is the Joyce Meyers it has topics listed in the back so you can get a list of pertinent verses. This really helps in the quick for study.

Okay so that covers it, feel free to comment any question noone's opinion is wrong we can all agree to disagree "Live and let live"
